Wadi International Private University has signed a joint scientific and academic cooperation agreement with the Russian Friendship University.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Najeb Al Aji, the educational Attaché in the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Russia and the Vice-President of the Friendship University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Larissa Evinova, Head of the International Relations Department, and representatives of the faculties of Engineering in various specialties and medical faculties, in addition to the person responsible for teaching the Russian language in the university, and Dr. Wajeh Khalil, Member of the Board of directors at WIU . And Dr. Basher Elias, Vice President of Wadi International Private University for Scientific Affairs and a number of academics from both sides.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Basher Elias, Vice President of Wadi International Private University for Scientific Affairs and Dr. Larissa Evinovna, Vice President of the Friendship University for Scientific Affairs.
The aim of the agreement is to send outstanding students in various engineering and medical specializations to study masters and doctoral degrees, and to send short-term teaching and technical staff members, as to be agreed on, to raise the scientific level and Students will be exchanged briefly to learn about the university and its laboratories and teaching methods, as well as the readiness of the friendship university to establish a center for teaching Russian at Wadi International Private University
