Information about the Department of Informatics Engineering

The mission of the faculty of Engineering is integrated into the mission and goals of Wadi International Private University,
which was created by the Republican Decree issued by Dr. Bashar Al-Assad, President of the Syrian Arab Republic No. / 281 / dated 2/7/2005.
The message is summarized in the establishment of an advanced educational and research complex capable of providing the latest knowledge and experiences in various engineering specializations,
which would advance the scientific and technical progress of the Syrian Arab country and chart its sustainable development prospects

Laboratories

The Faculty of Engineering at Wadi International Private University aims at the followings:

Preparing engineers in various engineering specializations, qualifying graduates and providing them with a high level of knowledge in their field of specialization in proportion the scientific and technical progress of global civilization

Developing research methods, education and teaching principles in the relevant engineering specializations and encouraging members of the teaching staff to continuously develop their teaching and research capabilities.

Developing the personality of the graduate engineers and their creative abilities and pushing them towards Success and the ability to respond in the future to the ever-evolving engineering and professional work

Providing the appropriate educational environment as a nurturing environment for education, knowledge development and scientific research

Providing the educational environment as an nurturing environment for learning and educational development

Achieving the highest level of interaction between the engineering specializations of the college and the relevant institutions, companies and scientific bodies

Improving students’ abilities to communicate in foreign languages ​​with the aim of following up on developments and scientific changes and in order to benefit from scientific cooperation agreements and student exchange concluded and in force with foreign universities, as is the case with the agreements signed with a number of German universities

Managing of programs, specializations and study plans, and this is done in cooperation and coordination with specific German universities granting accreditation and under direct supervision by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Syrian Arab Republic

Supervising and directing students by ensuring permanent and direct academic supervision during the various stages of study
