Information about the Faculty of Dentistry

The Faculty of Dentistry at Wadi University was inaugurated in 2013 according to Ministerial Resolution No. 70 / dated 9/30/2013 to complement its mission with the special mission of Wadi International University that was created according to Republic Decree No. 281 dated 7/2/2005 issued by the President of the Arab Republic. Which is summarized in the establishment of an advanced educational and research complex capable of providing the latest knowledge and experiences in the various specialties of dentistry, which would advance the scientific and health progress of the Syrian Arab country and raise the horizons of its sustainable development in the service of the profession, the country and the citizen.

The College of Dental Medicine at Wadi International Private University aims at the followings:

Developing research methods, university education and teaching principles in the specializations of dentistry by relying on medical and applied technologies and research in proportion to the requirements of contemporary scientific development and encouraging members of the teaching staff to continuously develop their teaching and research capabilities.

Developing the personality and creativity of graduates dentists, pushing them towards excellence and the ability to respond to the practice of the dental profession professionally and at a high level and developing team spirit in medical work.

Encouraging cultural, social and sports activities, which lead to the refinement of the students’ intellectual, social and health personality

Providing the appropriate educational environment as an incubator for education, knowledge development and scientific research.

Encouraging cultural, social and sports activity, which leads to the refinement of the student’s intellectual, social and health personality.

Achieving the highest level of friction and interaction between the dental specialties of the Faculties of Syrian, Arab and foreign dentistry.

Achieving the highest level of interaction between the college with its various departments and the institutions and organizations that integrate their missions, goals, students’ tasks and goals

Improving students’ abilities to communicate in foreign languages with the aim at following up on developments and scientific changes in order to benefit from scientific cooperation and student exchange agreements concluded and in force with foreign universities, such as German universities.
