The Civil Engineering Department Council at the International University of Wadi (WIU) comprises a distinguished group of academics and experts specialized in structural engineering, project management, and modern construction sciences. The council works on developing academic curricula to ensure the quality of Syrian engineering education in alignment with international standards and German partnerships, with the aim of preparing civil engineers capable of innovating advanced urban solutions that support reconstruction projects and achieve sustainable development in Syria.

Through its scientific vision, the council is committed to linking the faculty’s research with practical applications in order to meet the needs of the real estate development and infrastructure markets, both locally and regionally.
